Basketball - Senior Nights
Basketball is coming to an end *cry*.
Last Thursday was Senior night for girls basketball. Senior night is the last home game and all the seniors get honored. My friend Arielle is the only senior on the girls team and we all went to see her game, because it was not only her senior night, it also as about the region championship. I watched my first game in the student section and it was very exciting. We won by two points and our girls became Region champions. They'll go to state next week. Arielle cut the net of the basket.

Friday was senior night for the boys. We have nine seniors on the team and it was very emotional. Every senior got introduced and walked with his parents on the court where he got flowers and they had this slow music with it and I almost cried, because it was not only their last home game, it also was my last home game as their trainer.
I want to introduce some of the guys I spent most of my free time with the last month.
Our five starters are Colton, Will, Carter, Tanner and Sam.

Colton (C-Stew) is our top scorer.

Carter

Sam (brother Williams) is the leader of the team. The student section talks about William’s Island and he has a little brother on the sophomore team.

Will is a junior and 6’7” tall. The student section invented the “cannon” for him, because his last name is Cannon.

Tanner (T-Curt) is everywhere. He fights for every ball and runs a lot. He’s also in my church.

Jordan is the first who subs in. The student section has its own song for him.

Taran is probably the most popular boy I met. He doesn’t play very much, but the student section loves him. Every game the student section asks for him “ Pull in Taran! Pull in Taran!”. When he finally subs in everyone goes crazy. We had games, that were so boring that the student section sat the whole game. The coach subbed in Taran and the student section stand up and started a party .

Spencer (Spence)
Also on Varsity are Nic and JT.

Stuart (Stu Pace) is on JV. He’s way nice and saves me every time I fell asleep in math.

Jaren is the best sophomore. He plays almost the whole time on sophomore and JV and scored 6 points in a Varsity team. I had a close relationship with his eyebrows after he split them both open in two different game sin one week.
There are many more guys on JV and sophomore, but I couldn’t find them after the game.
We won our senior night and next Tuesday is the big game against Highland for the region championship. Highland and Olympus are tied on the first at the moment. It gonna be intense!
