Holladay has the measles! The last week was kind of a joke in school. The Thursday before they announced an emergency faculty meeting. The next day half of the teachers and 50 students were gone. The reason: The first confirmed case of measles since 2005. Everybody without immunization has to stay home till April 25. And home means home! My friends who have to stay home keep texting me how bored they are, because they can't even go grocery shopping. Sarah planned a trip to California for Spring Break, but she can't go. We had 26 substitutes in school. Out of my 7 teachers 5 were gone!
A few days after it started at Olympus, Skyline, Evergreen and William Pen had the same problem.
I can just say I'm so glad to have my vaccine.
