Yesterday I took a nap after school and went to see my friends in the Shakespear play. Afterwards Hannah, Jelaire, Brandon, Jake and I saw the Pirates midnight premier. It was tons of fun and many people we know were there. Now I'm taking a nap again to get ready for tonights JV team sleepover.

Last weekend was hilarious. Friday night I was at a birthday party and it was much fun. Sunday after the game we had a surprise party for Garza, one of my teammates. We surprised her at her house and emptied 10 cans of silly string on her. In the evening I went to Hannah's End-Of-AP-tests-party. It was much fun and Brandon, Emily, Arielle and I had a great time with writing on all cars in front of the house. I'm still proud of my "Just married" I wrote on Zach's car. He thought it was hilarious and uploaded pictures on facebook. Then I left with Lindsey and Sarah to answer for Prom. Since makade asked Lindsey with a Phantom of the Opera theme, we answered with Tangeld. Sarah put 20 bananas on her dates front porch. We knocked but nobody opened so we sat down at 11pm on his front porch and started to eat a half of every banana. They were delicious! Then we knocked again and somebody came out. We saw him talking the poster and then grabbing a banana and eating it. :D

Actually we were supposed to play the JV championchip against Bingham last Saturday, but we started and a huge thunderstorm came down so we had to finish it on monday. We started Monday with a 2:1 lead and 5 minutes of the first half left. Bingham had the better start and scored two goals on us. From there it was an alternation between them and us scoring, but we didn't make it to get a lead. With a 5-5 tied we went into overtime and that was our time! Within a minute we scored three goals on them. The bingham girl next to me yelled at her teammate: "What is going on?!". We won the game 9 to 6 and finished our JV season as champions. It was a great time with a fun team. For my JV team lacrosse was over but for me the Varsity state tournaments were still going on.

Finally it is really warm here and I'm not sure if I like that at practice. It is very tiring.
Tomorrow is our first round of state tournaments.
We made divisionchampions and face Riverton tomorrow at our home field.
Tonight we went out to dinner together and nobody can wait to revenge last year (they kicked us out of the play offs.)

Finally after two weeks of testing we are done with the AP tests amd everybody has relaxing classes where we either don't have to go or do fun stuff. No studying anymore... summer is almost here!

Last Friday I met Congressman Jim Matheson. Allison and I had an appointment with him at his office. He was very nice and we talked a little bit about Germany and my experiences in the United States.

Yesterday we had our last lacrosse game before the play-offs. It was JV only and up in Sky View. Over two hours away. We drove up there and had beautiful weather. We beat them 11-0 and now everyone on the team has scored a goal. After the game we went to dinner at a restaurant. Itw as much fun with 15 girls in jerseys and very loud ;)

Last night I went on my first group date ever. It was awesome. Last Tuesday I asked pretty randomly this guy, Alec , not expecting that he would have time or would go with me. (He's kinda way popular). Well... he answered "I'd love to" and I needed sometime to realize that I really just planned a date with him. Ha ha. After practice yesterday Alex picked me up and we went to pick up Alec. He lives in a huge house and I totally went to the wrong door. I gotta say I was pretty irritated about the washing machines and dryers behind the door. Not the kind of stuff we have in the hall behind our front door. Well since he is one of the nicest kids in our school it wasn’t awkward at all and we drove to Bucks house, who was Alex’s date. Alex almost scared him to death, because he didn’t hear her knocking and just went out to get something from his car, but Alex was standing right in front of him. We drove back to Alex’ house and met with Brandon Epperson and Isa, Crystal and Cody, Lindsey and Makade. The other girls had cooked and we had a big pasta bar. It was loud but way fun. Then we played games and laughed so much. It was a way nice time!

Thursday was a very special night for me. We had a varsity game against Woods Cross and a JV game against Herriman. It was Senior night. (Senior night: Last home game and before the game all seniors get honored and a gift). So we went to the bleachers and Coach said that everyone should sit down and the seniors stand in front and Germany. Then they started to honored everyone individually and talk about them. When it was my turn Coach Andrew called me in front and then asked me for my real name :D He started to try to talk about "Carolin", but gave up very soon and switched back to "Germany". When I walked in front everybody yelled my name and I got a very loud applause. I'm glad they didn't had music like they did at basketball or I'm pretty sure I would have cried. He talked about my strong defense and said that I played both JV and Varsity. Then he said that they are so sad I can’t play next year for them and asked everyone to send a letter to my parents to either move here or let me stay another year. I got a necklace with a lacrosse stick and a team picture. Then we ran back on the field and got together for the team talk. Woods Cross had only 8 fieldplayer instead of 11, so we played three men down too. Coach Jess announced the starter and I couldn’t believe it, when she said my name! I was starting on Varsity. Since we needed only one player back I ran up and played on attack. After we still hadn’t scored after a few minutes I cut and received a pass from Lilly, shot, and the ball went in! I had scored the first goal of the game and my first varsity goal ever. I heard people yelling my name on the sideline and celebrating me and it felt soo good. I played almost the full Varsity game. Then we played JV. I didn’t start because I didn’t warm up with them. Suddenly I remembered that I heard, that if you start on Varsity you can’t play JV anymore. So I went to tell Coach Ariel, that I started on Varsity, because she didn’t know it and I didn’t want to make my team lose the game because of me playing. Ariel was very upset and talked to Coach Jess, she said she thinks I still can play so she talked to the table and the other team and they said they are ok if I play. I didn’t feel very good about that since we were mad at Bingham for playing with varsity players against us, so I said I sit out first half and play second. I played D-Wing in second half and scored again! My second JV goal and third of my life! We won both JV and Varsity and are first with both teams. It was an amazing night!

Today we had a easter lunch and then we colored 72 eggs!
